GovExec’s Studio 2G Receives Four 2023 MarCom Awards

The company was recognized with platinum and gold placements, as well as an honorable mention, for campaigns advocating for software supply chain security and more.

Washington, DC (November 15, 2023) — GovExec, the industry-leading sales and marketing intelligence company for government leaders and contractors, today announced that its internal creative agency, Studio 2G, has been recognized with four prestigious MarCom Awards. The awards, which are presented by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) and widely renowned as one of the top creative competitions, honored Studio 2G across categories for its work with clients including Okta, Snowflake, and Leidos to promote quality content, data value, and clean energy in the public sector.

Winning entries included: 

  • Platinum Award for “Accelerate Agency Missions,” a government content hub launched in partnership with Okta that provides a collection of resources, inspiring talks, and success stories offering insight into how the government can stay on the cutting edge when it comes to today’s most pressing issues.
  • Platinum Award for “Bridging the Gap,” an immersive custom article created alongside Snowflake examining the critical role of public sector data, analysis, and real-world applications.
  • Gold Award for “Electrify the Mission,” an interactive custom article produced on behalf of Leidos to provide a comprehensive dive into how agencies can successfully meet the requirements of the Clean Energy EO and implement aero-emissions fleets.
  • An Honorable Mention for “An Everything-as-Code Approach to Securing the Software Supply Chain,” an exploration of Leidos’ philosophy toward the development lifecycle.

Of the 6,500 MarCom submissions filed each year, award recipients are chosen based on excellence in marketing and communications by a panel of judges that consists of senior-level industry freelancers and independent business owners. Since its founding in 2004, MarCom has bestowed the Platinum and Gold Awards to companies from around the globe that surpass standards of quality, creativity, and resourcefulness. Honorable Mention certificates are granted to those entries that meet the expectations of the judges.
