GovExec Announces Caitlin O'Connor as Vice President, Federal Market Intelligence Sales

Washington, D.C. (May 18, 2022) — GovExec announces that Caitlin O’Connor is joining the company in a newly created position of Vice President of Federal Market Intelligence. The announcement was made today by Constance Sayers, Chief Revenue Officer of GovExec. O’Connor joins the company from Gartner where she served as an account executive supporting federal CIOs, C-level executives, and IT leaders in the development of enterprise-wide IT strategies.

“Caitlin brings a wealth of experience in data analytics which will support our public sector clients as they work to grow their businesses,” said Constance Sayers, Chief Revenue Officer. “With data at the core of everything we do, Caitlin will be a critical driver to connect data with buyer intent and content for our intelligence platforms now and in the future.”

In support of the core insights and data that drives the business forward, O’Connor will be responsible for connecting GovExec’s public sector clients with the company’s new buyer intent and market intelligence platforms for the federal market: GovTribe and Market Connections. The position will also work with the award-winning federal content platforms including Nextgov, FCW and Washington Technology.

O’Connor comes to GovExec with a distinguished background in nurturing existing and establishing new accounts for government and federal centric media organizations. In addition to maintaining client retention with Gartner, she has also managed advertising sales and led business opportunities for companies like WTOP, Federal News Network and  Gannett Government Media. Combined, she helped to garner around $5 million of advertising revenue.
