Washington, DC (February 22, 2023) — GovExec, the market-leading sales and marketing intelligence company for government leaders and contractors, today announced that its internal content marketing agency, Studio 2G, has been recognized with four prestigious AVA Awards — a Platinum Award for its creation of the “Countering a Global Aerial Threat” blog, two Gold Awards for the “Electrifying the Navy's Next Generation of Carriers, Destroyers and Frigates” video and the “How Virtual Care Can Help Curb the Behavioral Health Crisis” e-book, and an Honorable Mention for its creation of the podcast series “Security Stories.”

The four winning entries included:

- A Gold Award for the Youtube Marketing Video Electrifying the Navy's Next Generation of Carriers, Destroyers and Frigates, a video produced in collaboration with Leonardo DRS in which Ed Thaxton, the chief technology officer for Leonardo DRS' naval power systems business, highlights the benefits of an all-electric fleet
- A Gold Award for How Virtual Care Can Help Curb the Behavioral Health Crisis, an e-book made in collaboration with Zoom about the mental health crisis that grips the military, the community of veterans, and the nation as a whole as well as delving in potential waysfor help solve the issue.
- An Honorable Mention for the podcast series Security Stories, a series presented by NetApp, Presidio Federal, HighPoint and TD Synnex that discusses topic such as AI Risk Management and Protecting Cloud Data
AVA Digital Awards is an international competition that recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design, and production of media that is part of the evolution of digital communication. Work ranges from audio and video productions, social media sites, animation, blogs, podcasts, and other forms of user-generated digital communication.
About 16 percent of the entries won Platinum, the top award, 21 percent won the Gold Award, and 8 percent were Honorable Mention winners.
There were about 2500 entries from the US, Canada and other countries who submitted to the AVA Awards and Studio 2G is honored to be part of those recognized.
