New York, NY. (January 25, 2022) — City & State, the premier political news and information organization, announced today that media personality Skye Ostreicher will be joining their award-winning New York team, along with the launch of a streaming/podcast series: Political Personalities with Skye. This venture is aimed at bringing subscribers policy content with a fun twist, with a plan to add additional programming throughout the state in the coming months.

Political Personalities with Skye will feature high profile guests breaking down the issues closest to their hearts, but also dishing on what they do for fun, how they got their start, their hidden talents, even their family and love life. Between light-hearted daily video content and a weekly deep dive in her podcast, the content Skye delivers will appeal to newbies and political experts alike.

Skye Ostreicher joins the City & State team after successfully creating and running her own 70-episode Instagram TV series called Life Before the Virus. After a stint as a political consultant she served as regional director on the Mike Bloomberg presidential campaign, but late March 2020 found Skye (like so many New Yorkers) jobless and locked inside a one-bedroom apartment. Never one to be content with nothing to do, she turned to her contacts in government for candid conversations on camera with elected officials and community leaders. This project continued to evolve, leading to informational and fun community video series with Herald Community Newspaper Group’s Herald Inside LI, Schneps Media’s PoliticsNY with Skye, and now City & State’s Political Personalities with Skye.
