Aaron Heffron Promoted to President of GovExec’s Research and Forecasting with Expansion of his Position to Include Forecast International and Military Periscope

Washington, DC (November 18, 2022) — Building on its mission to provide cutting edge data and information to the public sector, GovExec, the market-leading sales and marketing intelligence company for government leaders and contractors, announced today plans to further grow its comprehensive research and insights services. Aaron Heffron, currently Executive Vice President of GovExec’s Market Connections and Government Business Council, will develop and implement a strategy to build upon Forecast International’s and Military Periscope’s long history and leverage that expertise in new verticals across the public sector. As President of Research and Forecasting, he will now oversee the best-in-class Research and Insights organization that includes Market Connections, Government Business Council, Forecast International and Military Periscope.

Heffron will be responsible for directing this further transformation of GovExec’s Insights and Research team and platform. With a 45-year history of providing defense and aerospace research and analysis, Forecast International’s knowledge of the marketplace and custom research will be combined with the custom research and communications skills of Market Connections and Government Business Council in order to enhance GovExec’s overall data-driven B2B and B2G sales-growth and analysis engine.
